A rare early 19th century Spanish colonial relic - Santa Maria with the Holy Trinity above. Hand carved and polychrome painted vegetable ivory, also known as 'tagua nut' - from the Phytelephas palm found in the tropical rain forests of Ecuador. Backed in the original red velvet cloth.
Dimensions: Overall height on display stand is 4.5 inches. Relic measures 2.5 inches x 2 inches.
Condition: In excellent, original condition.
