Before the advent of commercial television, sponsored advertising and mass media, modern marketing terms such as, “marketing tool" and "marketing strategy" were preceded by more relevant terms like, “sample” and “sales pitch”. Apropos of the door salesman, his marketing tools were the tools in his bag, or product samples, and his marketing strategy was the sales pitch he would recite to anyone willing to offer their ear.
Given the specs and superior quality, supercharged, appointed in imported Argentine nutria with all available options and accessories included, most buyers would have been spared his pitch. None was required. This hat speaks for itself...
