This late 19th century Mexican ex-voto offers thanks to "El Senor de Esquipulas, the Cristo Negro depicted in upper right. According to the narrative Martina Chapero was suffering from an agonizing pain in her side but she invoked EL Senor de Esquipulas and regained her health.
