A near perfect example of "Los Cinco Personas', also known as 'La Mano Poderosa' or 'The Powerful Hand', a reference to the Extended Holy Family perched atop the almighty hand. The five figures represent Anne, Mary, Santa Nino de Jesus, Joseph and Joachim. In the lower quadrant, blood is flowing from the stigmata into an open gold chalice which is consumed by the seven sacrificial lambs. The number seven, a symbolic number in Catholicism, represents the seven holy sacraments and the seven deadly sins.
Dimensions: 14 inches x 10 inches.
Condition: in excellent, original condition with only minor paint loss.
