A fine early 20th century Tlaquepaque night pattern plate - attributed to one of Mexico's great folk masters, Balbino Lucano. Circa 1930. This one of a kind plate features a 'jimador' harvesting agave with colorful birds and blossoms in the periphery. Classic 'night' patterned design represented in the form of interspersed white stars on a black slip.
