This rare 19th century 'limosnero' or 'alms box' features 'Santa Rosa de Lima' in the form of a tin retablo on the obverse face. On the back of the box is a handle, and along the top and one side, a two inch opening used to save coins or bills for alms contributions.
Dimensions: 7 inches high x 5.25 inches wide x 4 inches deep.
Condition: in overall excellent condition with only minor paint loss.
