This mid 20th century ceremonial dance mask from San Luis Postosi is an outstanding example of the comanche mask. The comanche mask is almost always made from painted leather and tire tubing. This example is further embellished with stag horn. Circa 1950's.
Displayed on a high quality custom made stand.
