A large and impressive late 19th century clip point, machete style fighting knife from Brazil. The blade, etched 'Viva a Brasileiro' within a foliate roundel, is made from good quality steel with minor gray spotting throughout. The grip is made from horn and terminates into a steel hilt in the form of a bird. Complete with original brown leather scabbard.
Raised on a high quality custom made teak wood stand.
