Description

This late 19th century Italian ex-voto painting on canvas is dedicated to Mary, Queen of Heaven, buoyed upon a bed of clouds overhead. The subject of this ex-voto, Della Pietra, petitioned the Virgin to bring back his health. His prayer was answered and in honor of this miracle this painting was offered. Dated 1893.

Dimensions: 20.5 inches x 20.5 inches.

Condition notes: minor paint loss. Several small patched repairs on verso.
