A superb early 20th century Ifugao warrior's 'fikum' or hip ornament with hand cut mother of pearl beads, beaded wire, copper and a carved coconut button suspended from the iridescent nacre face of an abalone shell. Bontoc, Mountain Province, Philippines. Raised on a high quality custom made stand.
Dimensions: Shell measures 6.5 inches diameter. Overall height on stand is 10.5 inches.
