A fine and rare 18th-century Spanish 'Frailero' (Friar's chair). Genererously proportioned hand-carved and hand-adzed walnut frame with gently sloping armrests terminating into scrolls at each end. Original hand-tooled leather back and seat raised on square legs joined by molded and reticulated rails.
Dimensions: 43 inches high x 23 inches wide x 21 inches deep.
Condition: in overall good, original condition. Solid and sturdy. Leather with several scuff marks and abrasions.
