Ceremonial Tari / Shaman's Cloth:
Late 19th century 'Tari' cloth (shaman's ceremonial offering cloth for coca leaf) from the Pacajes region of Bolivia, Department of La Paz - circa 1880.
Hand spun alpaca wool fibers with natural dyes -- madder red, cochineal, green and Q'olle flower yellow. Sturdy weave with tightly wrapped selvedges and corner tassels.
Professionally backed, stretched and mounted on a fine linen cloth.
Dimensions: overall dimensions are 37 inches horizontal x 33 inches vertical.
Condition: in good original condition with minor soiling.
