A fine and rare late 18th / early 19th century Spanish colonial silver 'naveta' (boat shaped incense burner) with a reticulated fence over the stern and a chased lid over the bow. The body is hand chased and stippled over nearly every inch and raised on a chased trumpet foot with node ring stem. Mexico. Circa 1750 - 1825.

Condition: In good, original unrestored condition. Natural age tarnished patina.
