Fine features of this petaca include:
A large and impressive five inch diameter lock-plate together with the original iron hasp
Original strap hinges and corner brackets
A heraldic shield / armorial crest on the top panel
Decorative brass studs
Rich color and excellent surface patina.
Dimensions: 21.5 inches wide x 12 inches deep x 9.5 inches high.
Condition notes: very early leather repair along left side of top panel. Lacking several studs.
