We are proud to offer this very fine 18th century Spanish colonial oil on heavy gauge copper -- San Jose and the Santo Nino de Jesus with a verdant landscape in the background. Saint Joseph is the patron saint of family, fathers and carpenters. He is almost always depicted as he is here, embracing the 'Santo Nino' and clutching a blooming staff of lilies (his symbol of purity).
Attributed to Jose de Paez.
Dimensions: approximately 6.2 inches inches vertical x 5.2 inches horizontal.
Condition: in overall excellent condition.
