A fine and rare late 19th century Aymara ceremonial 'Tari' cloth (ceremonial ground shaman's cloth) from the Pacajes region of Bolivia, Department of La Paz - circa 1880. All natural colors including natural brown with vertical stripes in natural white, cochineal and Nuñuca green. In original, unrestored condition.
Professionally stretched and mounted on a fine linen cloth.
Dimensions: Tari cloth measures approximately 28 inches horizontal x 29 inches vertical. Stretched linen cloth measures 30 inches x 31.5 inches.
