A rare mid 19th century Mexican oil on tin 'retrato' (portrait) of a cardinal. Displayed in a handsome antique gilt-wood frame.

Dimensions: frame measures 9.5 inches vertical x 7.75 inches horizontal. Retrato measures 7 inches x 5 inches.

Condition: excellent with only minor paint loss.
