In the winter of 1926, a modish marketing campaign by 'Iris', one of Mexico's veteran hardware stores, engendered a sizable spike in business the following year. Hoping to foster growth, Iris' handbill promotion triggered a run on wood joiners, shaft collars, fertilizer, rope, push nuts, bolts, crack fillers, screw protectors, pipes, penetrants, tool grinders, hammers, silicone lubricants and hoes. According to their handbill, 'Iris is always for sale and will leave you feeling satisfied'.
Displayed in a high quality wood frame.
