A large and impressive early 19th century stoneware 'lebrillo' (basin) from the Triana District in Sevilla, Spain. This large basin, measuring 27 inches in diameter, features Spain's 'toro de lidia' or 'fighting bull'. Cobalt, copper green, yellow and manganese pigments. Verso mended with multiple staple repairs.
Dimensions: 27 inches diameter x 7 inches deep.
