A fine and rare Mexican Art Deco coffee pot, cream and sugar service in sterling silver - circa 1930's / 1940's. Each piece in heavy, high quality sterling silver with ribbings, hinged lid and rosewood knobs. The coffee pot with beautiful hand crafted rosewood handle. The underside with matching hallmarks - 'J.R. (maker's mark) followed by 'Sterling 925 Hecho en Mexico D.F.' The hallmark 'RJ', is attributed to TANE Orfebres, a well respected silver house in Mexico City that sold the work of many accomplished silversmiths under the prestigious trade name, TANE.

Dimensions: coffee pot measures 13.5 inches from end of handle to tip of spout. Overall height is 9.5 inches. 63 oz.
