A stunning late 19th century ceremonial 'Tari' cloth (ceremonial ground shaman's cloth) from the Pacajes region of Bolivia, Department of La Paz - circa 1880. Woven using only the finest hand spun alpaca wool fibers. The overall quality of this tari is superlative; made from only the finest materials - tightly woven with good luster and a soft, floppy handle.
Professionally backed, stretched and mounted on a fine linen cloth.
