This classic 19th century folk retablo depicts "San Expedito", the patron saint of procrastinators. In this image, Saint Expeditus is standing on plinth base with a black raven underfoot. The small banderole just above the raven is inscribed, "cras," -- Latin for "tomorrow." Displayed in a wonderful hand painted Mexican style retablo frame.
Dimensions: retablo measures 14 inches x 10 inches, plus frame.
Condition: in overall excellent condition - clean.
