A good early 20th century (circa 1900) hand painted / lacquered baul from Olinala, Guerrero - Mexico. Overall with excellent graphics - pastoral scenes, animals, foliate motifs and various inscriptions. The interior with original red paint / Mexican eagle and serpent. 

Dimensions: 32 inches long x 16.5 inches wide x 15 inches high.

Condition: small spots of very minor paint loss - stable.
